to find the cost fo each shirt, u first need to eliminate all the blouse away.
you can elimnate all the blouse away by multiplying the equation (5shirt + 3 blouse= $376) by 2 to get a new equation of 10 shirts + 6 blouse =$752, which is twice the amount of shirt and blouse. (see the picture)
between the equation (1) and equation (2), equation (2) has 8 more shirts.
so the difference in amount is equals to the cost of the 8 shirts in total, which is $752-$286
