may i ask, for the first part, what does rt mean?
Under "Circle Properties", since BD is a diameter (there will be a semicircle), then angle DAB = 90 with reason "right angle in a semicircle".
Similarly angle DCB = 90 with the same reasoning. You could refer back to Sec 3 textbook for in depth details.
