Hi this is a rather tricky question, so I’ve tried to include worded explanations for each step.

You have to find the interval between two small stars and two big stars, then get a common length of wire (eg 300cm) and compare how many more small stars are there than big stars. Then, we multiply the common length (300cm) by the number of times the number of small stars is greater than number of big stars to get the answer.
