Since 60% are boys remaining 40% is girls
So that means 40% is equal to 550 pupils
So figure out 100%
Through 100/40 x 550
That will give you the total number of students
For next part to find out how much boys paid
First find the number of boys
Which is 60/100 of the answer in a)
You can also do it 60/40 x 550 which will give you the total number of boys
After which multiply by the cost and you will get the answer
