In case you're not comfortable with algebra, I'll park this answer here.
If you can recognise that from both the Rectangle and the Square 27cm^2 has been removed to produce the yellow and blue parts respectively, you'll realise that the difference in area between the two remains constant.
Perhaps you can show +27 added to both Y and B in order to make them equal to R and S respectively.
