Hello, we can slowly list down the distance ran for each day, by using an unknown M to represent the distance ran on Monday.

Then, we know she ran 9000 by Friday. This means 9000 is equals to all the distance ran from Monday to Friday. We can make an equation and solve for M.

Once we know the value of M, we see how far she ran on Thursday. That is M + 1200. We know M is 1000 so it is just 1000+ 1200 which is 2200. Hope it helps!
