You have to use special angles to help you solve this. The skill required is to reimagine 7pi/12 as something you can work with...i.e 3pi/12 + 4pi/12 which can be simplified to pi/4 + pi/3

cosec^2 x = 1 + cot^2 x
sin x/cos x = tan x so, the opp. cos x/sin x = cot x

I forgot to do so here but showing somewhere that the answer obtained in b)i) = line 4 equation is a good presentation habit. It reinforces the idea of "Hence" being used in your b)ii)
