Sorry I misread the question. Mixed numbers means fractions in its lowest form.
1.5kg = 1 1/2kg = 1 4/8kg (common denominator with 3/8kg)
Weight of bowl = 1 4/8kg - 3/8kg = 1 1/8kg (simplest form)
