hint ......

for (i), recall that ...
- angle in a semicircle is 90 degrees.
- for 2 perpendicular lines, the product of their gradients is -1.

work out the gradients of PR and QR.
by showing that the product of the gradients is -1, it means angle PRQ is 90 degrees, so PQ must be the diameter of the circle which passes PQR.

The student may not have learnt the "angle in a semicircle" property yet though.

Part (iii) to find perpendicular bisector of PR, first find the midpoint of PR then find the gradient of PR. Since it is a straight line, equation is y=Mx+c so just sub the values of midpoint PR and M to find c. Also to show that this equation passes through the point centre, sub one of the centre value in the equation to see if u get the other value. If it is the same means it passes through the centre. Eg if u sub x=3 into the equation and u get y=-2 or u sub y=-2 and u should get x=3 then this shows that the line passes through the centre

Michi, this "angle in a semicircle" property is a circle property which you will learn later this year in Sec 3 E Maths if you have not yet covered it in school.
