The volume of the container is said to be 18pi cm^2. The volume of the hemisphere is 1/8 of the whole, hence 2.25pi cm^2, and hence the volume of the cylinder is 15.75pi cm^2.

You have the formula of
Hemisphere: 2/3*pi*r^3
Cylinder: pi*r^2*h

First substitute the hemisphere formula to be 2.25pi and you will get the value of r.

Next substitute the value of r and the 15.75pi into the formula of cylinder to get h. You should gst the answers

Go try it. Hope it helps
