Very simple.

AB = BC = CD = AD (sides of the same square)

AB = BE = AE (sides of the same equilateral triangle)

Since AB = AD and AB = AE,

AD = AE

So triangle AED is isosceles.

∠ AED = ∠ ADE
(base angles of isosceles triangle AED, where AD = AE)


∠AED = (180° - 30°)/2
= 75°
