Thank you. I understand part (a), but part (b), may i know why 1unit is being divide from $12/$0.60? I thought $12 is the more money from rose compare to cookies?

ah i see. 12/0.6 is done to look for the value of one unit. say i have 1rose 1 cookie. the diff would be 0.6. 2 roses 2 cookies, 2x0.6. 3 roses 3 cookies, 3x0.6. 4 roses 4 cookies, 4x0.6.

so when i have 1u of roses and 1u of cookies and the diff is $12, what’s 1u? we can do that by finding the no of 0.6 in 12 and that’s why i took 12/0.6.
