Few points to take note. Firstly, you might have forgotten to put the gradient value on your linear law expression at
1/y=x^2+3.5. Otherwise, you got the right expression

Second note is that you can just get the inverse of the right hand side of the equation and you will the the equation in terms of y

1/y = 5/6 x^2 + 3.5
y=1(5/6 x^2+3.5)

You can then rearrange to make it in a simpler form. Otherwise, youre there already!
