When faced with proportions always relate y to x and k, where k is a constant.

Thus whenever the value of y changes, x must change. Given inverse proportion, an decrease in y results in an increase in x value. Given y is inversely related to x squared, you will need to squareroot the increase in x squared to find the increase in value of x
