The sum of areas of A and B is equal to the sum of areas of C and D, since we have a rectangle being cut along its diagonal.

But A : B = 3 : 5 and B : C is 2 : 3.

B cannot be "5" and "2" at the same time, so we must make them "10".

A : B = 6 : 10
B : C = 10 : 15

So, A is 6 units.
B is 10 units.
C is 15 units.

A + B is 16 units.
C + D is also 16 units.

So, D
= 16 - 15
= 1 unit

So, A : D is 6 : 1.
