∠x + ∠z = 120°

(Exterior angle = sum of two interior opposite angles)

∠w + ∠ y = 70°

(Same property)

Total = 120° + 70° = 190°

x + z is not equal to 120. Its exterior angle is 180-120= 60. Hence x +z = 60 instead of 120

What you'll need to remember is that exterior angle = sum of two interior opposite angles.

Many schools seem to not teach this at P6.
