Let the MIDDLE number be x.
The previous odd number is x - 2 (a jump of 2) while the subsequent odd number is x + 2.
(x - 2) + x + (x + 2) = 225
x - 2 + x + x + 2 = 225
3x = 225
x = 75
The middle number is 75.
The previous number is 73.
The subsequent number is 77.
