Shaded = 4u
B unshaded = 5u
Total of figure = 17u
a) Fraction = shaded / Total
= 5u/17u
= 5/17
b) B unshaded = 5u
B unshaded = 90
5u = 90
1u= 18
Rectangle A = 8u+4u = 12u
= 12 x 18
= 216 cm²
