Hello!
What you can learn from this question is that a gradient of a straight line is constant throughout the straight line. Finding the gradient of line BC is the same as finding the gradient of line CD because line BC lies in line CD.
Notice that the gradient is negative, because the line is "downslope".
(One potential careless mistake is to get the coordinates confused)
