Hi, could you kindly advise me the working solution for part (ii) of this question? I am unable to get the same answer as that in the answer key. Thanks.

Good afternoon Mr Eric :)
Hope you have a good rest last night and thanks for looking into my question.

I am able to solve part (i) but not part (ii).
I have checked through my workings on part (ii) which I think they look sound, but I am unable to get the same answer as that in the answer key :(

There is a “trick” for part b. Angle B/2 can only lie in one specific quadrant. For example, if B is in the third quadrant (180 to 270), then B/2 will lie in the second quadrant (90 to 135) so its cosine, for example, will be negative.
