You might be mistaken, for partial fractions there needs to be a denominator and numerator. Rather seems like this question is referring to expansion rather than on partial fractions

The format of the bracketed terms (2 - x)^6 and (1 - ax)^2 does look like that of a partial fraction situation with repeated linear roots, but sadly the expression is not a partial fraction at all.

If the expression is something like 1 divided by (2 - x)^6 (1 - ax)^2, then this question will fall under partial fraction. But then again, doing partial fractions for this will be challenging, with eight fractions to split into.
