ABD = 6 x 32 = ?

CE = CD (4u) + DE (3u) = 7 units total
BD
Area of triangle = 1/2 X Base X Height
Area of ACE = 224
1/2 X 7 u X H = 224
1/2 X H = 32
H = 32 X 2 = 64
If we reverse the equation, it will bring you back to 224.
Area of ABD = 1/2 X 6 u x 64 = 192.
BD
Area of triangle = 1/2 X Base X Height
Area of ACE = 224
1/2 X 7 u X H = 224
1/2 X H = 32
H = 32 X 2 = 64
If we reverse the equation, it will bring you back to 224.
