Answer = A.

Logic -
1) it doesn't matter if the current is AC or DC since the field is circular around the wire.

2) since it's a field effect, the closer you are the the source of the field the stronger the force you experience

3) assume the current us DC and use use the xxxii hand rule (the one where your thumb is the direction of the force, your index finger is the direction of the field and middle finger the direction of the current).

4) finally the amount of force you experience directly proportional to the cross sectional area exposed to the force.
