Fractions method :

48 workers can plant a field in 12 days.

Now 9 days is ¾ of 12 days since 9 ÷ 12 = 9/12 = ¾

To do the same work in ¾ of the original time, you need 4/3 of the original number of workers

48 workers x 4/3 = 16 workers x 4
= 64 workers
