I am always pretty confuse on the Remainder and the Money Left . Isn't it the same ? Anybody could assist to explain how to do this question ?

Make both fractions equal to 35
Add 15+7=22 and subtract from 35.
U will get 13units and that is the cost of the coat($260). To find original amt.=260÷13 ×35=$700
