When p = 64,
① 64 = 16k² / 9
② 64 x 9 = 16k²
③ 576 = 16k²
④ 576 / 16 = k²
⑤ k² = 36
⑥ k = ± √36
⑦ k = 6 (rejected as k < 0) or -6
So k = -6
Note : once you have understood the above steps, you can skip ②,③,④, and for ⑤, you can write k² = 64 x 16/9 = 36 instead
