I got my (ii) answer wring but im not sure where my mistake is... the answer is 7/6 units^2

AB23 is a trapezium, not a triangle.
You should be subtracting (0.5)(a+b)(height) [where a&b are parallel sides of the trapezium] instead of (0.5)(base)(height).
