Area of quarter circle
= B + C
Area of semicircle
= D + C
Area of quarter circle - area of semicircle
= B + C - (D + C)
= B + C - D - C
= B - D
You should know how to find the radius of the semicircle since you already have its diameter. Then use it to find the area.
