e^(2x + y) / e^(3x) = e

e^(2x + y - 3x) = e¹

Comparing the exponents/powers/indices,

2x + y - 3x = 1
y - x = 1
y = x + 1

√(5^x) x (1/25)^(y - x) = 1

(5^x)¹/² x (1/5²)^(y - x) = 1

5^(½x) x (5-²)^(y - x) = 1

5^(½x + (-2)(y - x) ) = 1

5^(5/2 x - 2y) = 5^0

Comparing the exponents/powers/indices,

5/2 x - 2y = 0

5/2 x = 2y

Sub y = x + 1,

5/2 x = 2(x + 1)

5/2 x = 2x + 2

1/2 x = 2

x = 4

y = 4 + 1 = 5

An idea. You should get x = 4 and y = 5.
