I don’t know which number to minus 105 and multiply the answer with 2/5 and subtract the answer with the answer which came from subtracting number and 105.Please help me!Thank you!

You can’t use guess and check. Because we don’t know how much money at 1st.
What we know here are:
Remainder = 5u because he gave 2/5 to his mother.
Mean mother get 2u and left 3u.
Total money now we know is 105 + 5u
Spend and mother take 105+2u
Next...
Left with 3/5 or 3u
Left also equal to 1/4 of total (money at 1st)
Here, calculation 1/4 =3u
Therefore 4/4 = 12u
Left 3u
Spend and mother = 9u
105+2u = 9u
105= 9u-2u
105=7u
15 = 1u
Total = 4/4 = 12u
Total = 12 x 15 =180.
