You can’t use tan θ =4/3.

Look at your triangles;
(4,3) is with reference to origin, not x -axis so it’s not 4 units Y and 3 units X.
Even if you use P, it’s not 4 units Y it’s 4+Y Coordinate of P.

You rearrange the equation you’d get 3 as your “M” or gradient.
Remember that tan θ = gradient because;
tan θ = opposite/adjacent
therefore, tan θ = y/x in this case.

Hence tan θ = 3.
