Hi, I don’t understand the part about finding the coordinates of the centre of the circle. If I’m not wrong, g is the x coordinate of the circle, can you explain why 2g=27? Thank you.
Hi, 2g = -27 is the result on comparing with the general form of an equation of a circle. You can refer to p.167 of the textbook. -g is the x coordinate of the centre of a circle.
