Total for 2 apples = $3.60

Can simplify for me please
Orange = u
3 orange =3u
Apple = u + 0.40
2 Apple = 2u +0.8
Total = 7.80
3u + 2u + 0.80 =7.80
5u = 7.80 - 0.80
5u= 7.00
1u = 7÷ 5
1u = 1.40
2 apples = (2×1.40) +0.80
2 apples = $3.60
3 orange =3u
Apple = u + 0.40
