Equal concept question. Make the numerator the same.
⅓ of Isaac's money = 3/9 of Issac's money
Now this is equal to 3/5 of Daniel's money.
We made the numerators the same so they have the same units.
Now compare the denominators.
Isaac has 9 units total and Daniel has 5 units total.
Ratio of Isaac's to Daniel's $ = 9 : 5
⅓ of Isaac's money = 3/9 of Issac's money
Now this is equal to 3/5 of Daniel's money.
We made the numerators the same so they have the same units.
Now compare the denominators.
Isaac has 9 units total and Daniel has 5 units total.
