Add both equations together, giving you
5c-2d+3c+2d=9+7 which simplifies to
8c=16
c=2
2d=7-3(2)=1
d=0.5
5c-2d+3c+2d=9+7 which simplifies to
8c=16
c=2
2d=7-3(2)=1
d=0.5
