If sin theta = 3/5, then sin ABY = 3/5. This is because sin (180 - x) = sin x by the supplementary angle rule.

This means that
- AY is 3 units
- AB is 5 units
- BY is 4 units by the Pyth. Thm

cos BAY = AY/AB = 3/5

cos XAB
= - cos BAY
= -3/5

(because cos (180 - x) = - cos x by the supplementary angle rule)

I will look at the other question by 4 am if no one else has responded and I can still remember.
