Hi Linda! Do you have the answer to this question? I want to check if my interpretation is correct. The line "6 of them are wearing both" is a little confusing.

If 12 are wearing shoes then the 6 wearing both are already included. So if 12-6 it would take the number of people wearing shoes only. Same goes for socks only. Hope this helps!
