Hello Amanda! I sort of see what you correction-taped and here is your misconception:
Cross-multiplication only applied in multiplied
equations: y/2 • z/3 = 3y • 2z
To make base the same for addition and subtraction, multiply throughout the LCM
( Least common multiple)
