Apples = 2 units
Oranges = 9 units

DIfference = 7 units, so...

7 units = 56 fruits
1 unit = 8 fruits

Total = 11 units

11 units = 88 fruits

so there are 88 apples and oranges altogether (with 72 oranges and 16 apples)
