Make one of the unknown, x or y the subject first then use substitution method. Try it and tell me if you found the answer.
Tough one...I'm surprised this is a Sec 2 question. This is more difficult than a standard simultaneous equation problem in Sec 2, since one equation is linear (3x + 4y = 38) and one non linear equation (3/x + 10/y = 5/2).

This is either a Sec 2 Express Maths question in the advanced question or a Sec 3 Express A Maths question. The concepts look tough even for a Sec 2 Express student.
