Can’t really see if the angle between the plate and member B is 40 deg. In the workings, I assumed it is 40 deg. But if it is not, you can simply use the same concept to solve for theta and F_R.

Hello Vin, we can sum two vectors by using the tip to tail method, which is what I did here to form a parallelogram.

Yes, you can also resolve F_A and F_B to their respective x-components. The sum of the two x-components will be F_R.
