there is a printing mistake in part (iv).
the word "angle" should not be there. you should be measuring the distance XP, instead of an angle.

assuming that you know how to construct your angle bisector, this question is to let you explore the properties of an angle bisector.

you need to measure the perpendicular distance from a random point on the angle bisector, to the lines AB & AC.

you should find that ALL points on the angle bisector, are always equi-distant from the 2 lines that form the angle that is bisected.
