Alternative :
2x^(lg2) = 7x^(lg7)
Take lg on both sides,
lg(2x^(lg2)) = lg(7x^(lg7))
lg2 + lgx^(lg2) = lg7 + lgx^(lg7)
lg2 + lg2lgx = lg7 + lg7lgx
lg2 - lg7 = lg7lgx - lg2lgx
lg2 - lg7 = (lg7 - lg2)lgx
lgx = (lg2 - lg7)/(lg7 - lg2)
lgx = -(lg7 - lg2)/(lg7 - lg2)
lgx = -1
x = 10-¹ = 1/10
2x^(lg2) = 7x^(lg7)
