since the question does not specify in what form the answer should be, then can just do as method 1 and give answer in vector equation form.

if you encounter another question that requires answer in scalar product form, then do as in method 2.

Hi, thank you for this solution:) May i ask for method 1, do you assume that t=0 or did u sub t=0 because its the origin?

for method 1, you can substitute any value for t because you are just aiming to get a 2nd vector to form the plane. the position vector of any point on line l, will definitely be in the same plane as line l and the origin.

I chose t=0 because it just makes the calculation easier.

note that there are many possible answers for the vector equation of the plane because there are many different vectors and different start point that you can use.
