Each of the arcs equals ⅓ of the circle's circumference

It will help if you draw all 6 circles that the arcs belong too. Each circle can be divided into 6 equal parts. Each arc takes up the circumference of 2 of those parts

You'll also notice a regular hexagon inscribed inside the circle. This regular hexagon can be divided into 6 congruent triangles
