a) Using the formula to find the circumference of a circle of radius 56cm. Note that there is only 3 quadrants of the circle. Use the circumference of the circle diameter 28cm too.
b) Use area of 3 quadrants of a circle. 1 quadrant you must minus the area of the small circle. 1 area of a square of sides 56cm must minus 1 area of the quadrant.
