the question does not give you size of angle BAC and angle ABC. does not matter...
since angle ACB = 90 degrees,
therefore angle BAC + angle ABC = 90 degrees.
the 2 shaded regions can be combined to form a quarter circle.
note that AB = 2 x radius.
just find area of a quarter circle!!
