The answer for C qn5 and the ans for qn6 is wrong though...
The ans for C is 3 and ans for qn6 isA=11,B=12

Sorry, careless mistake on my part.
My 3rd line should be
Ax^2 + 2Ax + A + ...
instead of
Ax^2 + 2Ax +2A ...
This would mean
C=A+B+4
C=2-3+4
C=3
I dont think Ans for 6 is wrong though

Key is to identify that (x+1) appears twice in the equation and allows you to eliminate A and B right away to solve for C by letting X be -1.

Again, key is to identify value(s) of X that will allow you to completely eliminate one unknown to solve for the other one, in this case, solve for B by letting x be 1/3 (as this will cause A to disappear in the equation).
