There are 2 units of yellow boxes for every 3 units of blue boxes.

i.e ratio of yellow to blue boxes = 2 : 3

But there are 4 cups in 1 yellow box and 3 cups in 1 blue box.

Number of cups in 2 units of yellow boxes = 2 units x 4 = 8 units

Number of cups in 3 blue boxes = 3 units x 3 = 9 units

So for every 8 units of cups in yellow boxes, there are 9 units of cups in the blue boxes.

Ratio of cups in yellow boxes to cups in blue boxes = 8 : 9

Total = 8 + 9 = 17 units

17 units = 2040

1 unit = 2040 ÷ 17 = 120

Difference in cups between yellow and blue boxes

= 9 units - 8 units = 1 unit

= 120

So there are 120 more cups in blue boxes than yellow boxes
