Each unit (call it G) for the girls in both classes are the same size and each unit (call it B) for the boys in both classes are the same size.

6 Kindness : 3B, 3G, total 36
6 Love : 2G, 4B, total 38

Notice that both classes have 3 B and 2 G in common.

The only thing that is different is that 6 Kindness has 1 more G and 6 Love has 1 more B.

Since there are 2 more students in 6 Love than 6 Kindness,

this tells you that 1 B is 2 more than 1 G

If we take away 2 students for each B, we can change it to the same number as 1 G.

As there are 4 B in 6 Love, we can take away 4 sets of 2 students. Then 4B and 2G becomes 6G.

So 38 - 4 x 2 = 38 - 8 = 30

Then since 30 = 6G,

1G = 30 ÷ 6 = 5

We know that there are actually only 2G in 6 Love .

So 5 x 2 = 10

There are 10 girls in 6 Love

Thanks for the answer
It ties to what the school teacher is providing. But just out of curiosity:
Can we assume that the ratios are working on the same units?
As some ratios could be 2:4 instead of 1:2
